While at the Rijksmuseum, also take a stroll through the rejuvenating -free accessible- gardens surrounding the museum, adorned with flourishing local plants year-round.

- Nieuwedammerdijk Tour: Explore the scenic Nieuwedammerdijk area, soaking in the picturesque views along the way. Catch the ferry behind the central station with your bike, then navigate on Nieuwedammerdijk. If you are up fro more excitement, navigate on Durgerdammerdijk. On your way back, and still full of energy? Check out Straat Museum on NDSM, from there you can catch another free ferry to the central station again.
- Nieuwe Meer Dip: Take a refreshing dip in the Nieuwe Meer (don't forget your swim gear!) as part of this invigorating tour on the "less cosmetic" parts of Amsterdam. The route: cycle to the Vondelpark, then navigate to the Pieter Kranenbergpad, and then Koenenkade 24. Choose cycleroutes only:)
